Animal Cookie Rice Krispie Treats

- 2 piping bags or plastic baggies for drizzling candy melts
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 11 ounces Mother's circus animal cookies chopped
- 3 tablespoons colored nonpareils
- 1/2 cup pink candy melts
- 1/2 cup white candy melts
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- In a large microwave-safe container, heat the butter and mini marshmallows for 1 minute.
- Stir the mixture until fully melted, heating for additional 15-30 second increments if needed.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal, 1 tablespoon nonpareils, and 2 cups chopped animal cookies; stir to combine.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a greased baking dish and allow to cool completely, at least 30 minutes.
- In separate bowls, melt the pink and white candy melts in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring between each.
- Transfer melted candy melts to piping bags or plastic baggies and snip a small hole.
- Drizzle the candy melts over the cooled Rice Krispie treats.
- Immediately top with whole animal cookies and additional nonpareils.
- Allow the candy melts to set and harden for about 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
