  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup diced yellow or red onion
  • 1 roma tomato diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 lime juiced (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or flaky sea salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro leaves and stems
  • 1 jalapeno pepper finely diced

Instructions
 

  • Peel and roughly mash the avocados in a medium bowl, leaving some chunks for texture.
  • Add lime juice, diced onion, tomato, minced garlic, salt, chopped cilantro, and jalapeno to the bowl.
  • Gently mix ingredients to combine without over-mashing; maintain a creamy and chunky consistency.
  • Taste and adjust salt, lime juice, or cilantro as needed.
  • Garnish with additional cilantro and serve immediately with tortilla chips.
