Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf bread cubed
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread half of the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  • Dot with softened cream cheese and sprinkle blueberries over the bread.
  • Layer the remaining bread cubes on top.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
  • Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until the casserole is golden and set.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
