Equipment

  • 1 pot for cooking pasta
  • 1 skillet for cooking shrimp and sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions
 

  • Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  • Cook the fettuccine according to package directions, then drain, reserving some pasta water.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the seasoned shrimp until cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  • Add heavy cream and Parmesan to the skillet, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
  • Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water as desired, then toss in cooked pasta and shrimp.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes before serving for extra heat.
  • Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate up to 2 days.
