- 2 lbs frozen cheddar cheese pierogies
- 1 15- ounce jar Alfredo sauce
- 8 pieces crispy cooked bacon chopped
- 2 green onions finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Layer half of the frozen pierogies in the casserole dish.
Spoon half of the Alfredo sauce evenly over the pierogies.
Sprinkle half of the chopped bacon, green onions, and shredded cheeses over the sauce.
Add the remaining pierogies in a second layer on top.
Spoon the remaining Alfredo sauce over this layer and sprinkle the rest of the bacon, green onions, and cheeses.
Season with kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
Cover the casserole with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbly.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
