Ingredients
  

  • 5 slices thick-cut bacon cooked and diced
  • 1-2 teaspoons bacon drippings reserved from cooking bacon (optional)
  • 1 cup Ranch dressing low fat is acceptable
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • 2 large English cucumbers diced

Instructions
 

  • Place the sliced cherry tomatoes and diced cucumbers into a large bowl.
  • Combine the bacon drippings (if using), Ranch dressing, and crumbled bacon in a separate bowl.
  • Pour the bacon and dressing mixture over the tomatoes and cucumbers and gently mix until evenly coated.
  • Taste the salad and add salt and pepper as desired.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • The bacon drippings add flavor but are optional and can be omitted.
  • Chill the salad thoroughly for best taste.
