Ingredients
  

  • 4 to 5 cups cooked grated potatoes
  • 1 jalapeno finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • avocado oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Gather and prepare all ingredients, ensuring potatoes are cooked and grated.
  • Combine grated potatoes, finely chopped jalapeno, egg, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Form about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into compact balls.
  • Coat each ball thoroughly in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat avocado oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the cheese balls for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
