Equipment

  • 1 microwave-safe bowl
  • 1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons dark chocolate melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped peanuts
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Peel the bananas and cut each in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into two parts for a total of eight slices.
  • Arrange banana slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread peanut butter evenly over each banana slice.
  • Sprinkle chopped peanuts and a pinch of sea salt on top of the peanut butter.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate and coconut oil. Melt in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over each peanut butter-covered banana slice.
  • Freeze the prepared banana Snickers on the baking sheet for at least one hour until chocolate is firm.

Notes

  • Serve immediately from frozen for best texture.
  • Store leftovers in freezer to prevent thawing.
  • Use any nut butter as a substitute for peanut butter.
