Equipment

  • 1 skillet for browning beef
  • 1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • 1 mixing bowl for garlic-Parmesan butter

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce optional
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup softened cream cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough 8-count
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic or garlic powder
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce if using.
  • Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar and softened cream cheese until combined.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
  • Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a 4-inch circle.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle.
  • Pinch the edges together tightly to form a sealed ball.
  • Combine melted butter, minced garlic (or garlic powder), and Parmesan cheese in a bowl.
  • Brush the garlic-Parmesan butter generously over each dough ball.
  • Place the bombs seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes. Optionally garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
  • Serve warm with dipping sauces such as ketchup, ranch, or spicy mayo.

Notes

  • Seal dough seams tightly to prevent leaks during baking.
  • Cool filling slightly before stuffing to avoid soggy dough.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in oven at 325 °F to restore crispness.
  • Substitute turkey or chicken for beef for a lighter option.
  • Mix in jalapeños or bacon bits for extra flavor.
