Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 ¾ cups whole white mushrooms washed and dried
  • ¼ cup cream cheese cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon dried ground oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter, olive oil, garlic, and mushrooms in a large 12-inch frying pan over medium-high heat until mushrooms are tender, about five minutes.
  • Reduce heat to medium and add the cream cheese, cooking until melted.
  • Lower heat to medium-low and stir in Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer the mixture for five minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
