Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Equipment

  • 1 skillet for cooking steak and sautéing vegetables
  • 1 oven for baking sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 12 slider rolls
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the thinly sliced steak until browned.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the sliced green bell pepper and onion until softened.
  • Layer the cooked steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and provolone cheese onto the slider rolls.
  • Place the assembled sliders in the oven and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes until cheese melts.

Notes

  • Use ribeye for more flavor or sirloin for leaner meat.
  • Substitute provolone with mozzarella or cheddar cheese if desired.
  • Sliders can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
