Equipment

  • 1 9x13 baking dish lightly sprayed with nonstick spray
  • 1 pastry brush for brushing melted butter
  • 1 aluminum foil for covering sliders while baking

Ingredients
  

  • 12 count package Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided (1 cup and 1 1/4 cups)
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 20 slices deli style dry cured pepperoni
  • 1/3 cup salted sweet cream butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Keeping the rolls connected, slice the package horizontally in half.
  • Remove the top row of connected buns and set aside.
  • Place the bottom row of buns in the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella evenly over the bottom buns.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the mozzarella layer.
  • Layer 20 slices of pepperoni evenly over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni.
  • Place the top row of buns evenly over the cheese.
  • Brush melted butter over the top buns using a pastry brush.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan and dried Italian seasoning on top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftover sliders wrapped tightly or in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes to maintain crispiness.
  • Can microwave in short intervals, but bread may become soggy.
  • Make a double batch for larger groups.
  • Sliders are ready when tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
