Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs chicken breast 4 pieces
  • 1 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 6-8 cloves garlic grated
  • 2 scallions sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Grate the garlic cloves.
  • Add chicken breasts, soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, grated garlic, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours, flipping chicken halfway through cooking.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using a hand mixer or forks.
  • Serve shredded chicken over rice, noodles, or wraps. Garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds.

  • Use a hand mixer for easy shredding of chicken.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Optionally add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
