- 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1 15.25 ounce box strawberry cake mix
- 2/3 cup pink sanding sugar
- 36 strawberry ice cream cone kisses unwrapped
Beat cream cheese, butter, and egg in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
Add cake mix and beat until no dry streaks remain.
Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Roll dough into 1 tablespoon-sized balls, then roll each ball in sanding sugar.
Place dough balls on baking sheets, spacing at least 1 ½ inches apart.
Bake cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are set.
